Malaysia: What I Know and You Should Know?

Malaysia's cultural diversity is matched only by its phenomenal natural landscapes. In Malaysia there are three minority race such as malay, Chinese and indian. We had different language, culture, food and skin colour, but we still can be tolerate with each other.

What i know and interested about Malaysia is fair taxi fares. You probably would not find them in your country.Maybe you found taxi but different like in Malaysia.Kuala Lumpur taxis consistently rank on world's worst lists.Their notoriety is not helped by comments made by a minister who said the attitudes of the cab drivers were "worse than our filthy public toilets". The visitors insist on meter usage, haggle or, if they have time, use local public transportation.
Furthermore, there are many places of interests in country such as beaches, islands and rain forest. Malaysia's rainforest is considered as the oldest in the world. The diverse species of animals and plant life continue to excite a great deal of scientific research. There are many islands in our country such as Pulau Langkawi, Pulau Redang, Pulau Ketam and many others. Pulau Langkawi has a lot of historitical informations. Those who are in favour of history can go there to explore the history of that place. All the beaches in those islands are beautiful. The sand is soft and white. The accommodation is well-established and that makes those islands ideal places to visit

In short, Malaysia is unique that it has diversity of races, religions and cultures, a stable and peaceful environment, places of interest and some internal achievements. Those are important characteristic of our nation.

Environmental Problem Facing By My Country Today

Malaysia facing so much environmental problem. Not like before, if we said Malaysia, the foreigners will get the view the country with the peaceful environment and had fresh air. In spite of a relatively positive environmental record, Malaysia faces problems of deforestation, pollution of inland and marine waters, soil and coastal erosion. And not to forget, a problem of waste disposal. Furthermore, nowadays there are climate change. No rain in a month and also the temperature is higher than usual. Air pollution is common at the big city such as Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
Logging, along with cultivation practices has devastated tree cover, causing severe environmental degradation in the country. With current rates of deforestation, the forests are predicted to be extinct by 2020. These clearing has caused animals traditionally in lowland forest to retreat into the upland rain forests inland. Floods in East Malaysia have been worsened by the loss of trees. Deforestation is a major problem for fauna, such as the forest is cut to make room for plantations, mostly for palm oil and other cash crops. Most remaining forest is found inside national parks.
Water pollution still poses a serious threat in certain parts of Malaysia. Studies show that the major contributors to water pollution are agriculture, agro-based industries such as the processing of palm oil and rubber, food and beverage processing plants, and electronic hardware factories, many of which discharge effluents directly into rivers. Municipal sewage dumped into rivers is also a major contributor to water pollution.
To a certain extent, the burning of solid waste is also a cause of air pollution. Solid waste is one of the three major environmental problems in Malaysia. It plays a significant role in the ability of nature to sustain life within its capacity. The amount of waste generated continues to increase due to the increasing population and development, and only less than 5% of the waste is being recycled. Despite the massive amount and complexity of waste produced, the standards of waste management in Malaysia are still poor.
Due to this environmental problem, people become sick, dengue fever, fever, flu, coughing, and dehydration are common nowadays. The Malaysian government aims to balance economic growth with environmental protection, but has been accused of favouring big business over the environment. Some state governments are now trying to counter the environmental impact and pollution created. Tourism has been limited in biodiverse areas.

Techonology Kills Humanity

In a borderless world, all the information is at the fingertips. Science and technology leads us to a change of life. Progress can not be denied. However, in the meantime, there are also denying the impact of science and technology. Various conclusions made by individuals on the basis of observations about the impact of science and technology either advances or even lead to the destruction of the universe. Technology can excite and delight, but of course it can devastate and destroy too.

"The production of too many useful things results in too many useless people “ – Karl Marx I’ve always imagined how this world would be like if everyone in earth, especially teenagers, is continuously using and depending on the technology in everyday life. As we know, the production of gadgets like Smartphones, Ipad, Ipod are gradually increasing year by year and the usage of the Internet is getting easier as we have the Wi-Fi Connection in almost any area. This could probably result into people having the lack of social communication and thinking skill in life.
One of the social network

As a result of advances in science and technology is now indeed many advantages besides leading to an embedded also disadvantages. The crux of any progress must be based on Islamic values and in accordance with the exploration of the limits of science that has been set. Then progress and development we achieve undistorted and not harmful to the community because sometimes the ugliness we actually created it.

Malaysia Cars vs Foreign Cars

Malaysia is a country which have national car manufacturer which is Proton and Perodua . So here wants to bring a new topic to be discussed, FOREIGN CARS or NATIONAL CARS. Quarters of Malaysian like to buy national cars because of it is affordable compare to imported cars like Nissan, Honda, Toyota and Mitsubishi. This is due to the imported cars have high tax applied to each model. Let say, if all the imported cars in Malaysia did not have any tax under the AFTA, which the price is lower. Can Proton or Perodua compete with this situation. Most of Malaysia love and they bought the foreign cars because it is a good quality cars more than the Malaysia cars.Foreign cars have a good quality material than the malaysia cars standard quality material. In the year of 2014 many new car models suddenly flocked entry to the market. But if you told me about the local new car Malaysia, of course, everyone will talk about Proton and Perodua. It is only two companies alone are in "endorse" a local car manufacturers. But mastery of foreign car brands in terms of overall sales of local industry in 2014 continued to strengthen to 53 per cent over the previous year of 49 percent, the result of the launch of new models in addition to the sales performance was helped by weak domestic car brands.

Foreign Cars

Perodua Malaysia cars

However, what cars  you buy its a same type cars maybe most people look at the prices but sometime quarter of people look at the material or quality of that cars not prices. In that case, quality Malaysia cars is a standard quality material uses and quality of the Foreign cars use the high quality material.
Finally malaysia cars or car imports remained, the advantages and disadvantages of each.some person who likes to malaysia cars because the price is cheaper and spare part was happy to replace..some people like to use import car because it looks more stylish.Instead of the local car is not good in terms of quality. in terms of fuel economy and driving foreign cars can not be denied being excellent local car manufacturer .so touched improve the quality of production and the level of local trains. may compete with foreign cars. in terms of local car prices are low but the interest charged by banks is very high.

Genetic Engineering

Genetic engineering is the process of manually adding new DNA to an organism. The goal is to add one or more new traits that are not already found in that organism.DNA is a molecule found in the nucleus of every cell and is made up of  4 sub-units represented by the letters. The order of these sub-units in the DNA strand holds a code of information for the cell. The genetic language uses 4 letters to spell out the instructions for how to make the proteins an organism will need to grow and live.Small segments of  DNA are called genes. Each genes holds the instructions for how to produce a single protein. An organism may have thousands of genes. The set of all genes in an organism is called genome.

                                                                       Types of Traits

Proteins do the work in cells. They can be part of structures (such as cell walls and organelles). They can regulate reactions that take place in the cell or they can serve as enzymes, which speed-up reactions.Everything you see in an organisms is either made of proteins or the result of a protein action.DNA is the genetic code means the same thing in all organisms. This characteristic is critical to the success of genetic engineering. When a gene for a desirable trait is taken from one organism and inserted into another,it gives the 'recipient' organism the ability to express that same trait.Genetic engineering, also called transformation, works by physically removing a gene from organism and inserting it into another, giving it the ability to express the trait encoded by that gene.

                                                                            Genes

Genetic engineering manually moves genes from one organism to another while traditional breeding moves genes through mating, or crossing, the organisms in hopes of obtaining oof spring with the desired combination of traits.Traditional breeding is effective in improving traits, however, when compared with genetic engineering , it does have disadvantages.Since breeding relies on the ability to mate two organisms to move genes, trait improvement is basically limited to those traits that already exist within that species.Genetic engineering,on the other hand, physically removes the genes from one organism and places them into the other. This eliminates the need for mating and allows the movement of genes between organisms of any species. Therefore, the potential traits that can be used are virtually unlimited.Breeding is also less precise than genetic engineering. In breeding, half of the genes from each parent are passed on to the offspring. This may include many undesirable genes for traits tha are not wanted in the new organism. However, genetic engineering allow for the movement of a single or a few genes.
